March 8, 2000: The spring meeting will be held on March 26th at the Harriet Beecher Stowe Center in Hartford. Check the events page for details.
Feb. 1, 2000: Posted a job position announcement from the Amherst College Archives and Special Collections on the job announcements page.
Jan. 5, 2000: The Jan. 4 meeting in Holyoke came off quite well. A tour of University Products offered a look at how archival materials are manufactured and can be customized. A reception at the Wistariahurst Museum, sponsored by University Products, gave attendees the chance to tour the museum under the direction of the knowledgable docents. Dinner at the Yankee Pedlar Inn was delicious, and no complaints were heard. If you didn't go, you missed out on a good time. June 21: 2001: New archival research fellowship program funded...The Massachusetts Historical Society, Massachusetts Institute of
Technology,
Northeastern University, Schlesinger Library at the Radcliffe Institute,
and
WGBH Educational Foundation announce that up to five projects of $10,000 each in June 2002 and June 2003 will be
awarded (pending final funding from the NHPRC) to enable fellows to
conduct
research and write about a topic of importance to the archival profession. For complete details, go to the job announcements and other opportunities page.

Sept. 19, 2000: Revised information about the fall meeting in Deerfield, Mass., is now available on the events page. Registration deadline is October 4th, so don't delay.

Attend the New England Archivists (NEA) meeting on
October 20-21 at Holy Cross, Worcester, Mass. CRAG members may register at the NEA member rate. Registration materials were mailed to all CRAG members or can be obtained from the NEA web site.

Sept. 23, 1999: By October 1st you should receive a (paper) mailing for the next CRAG meeting. For those of you who've already marked your calendars, please note that the date has changed from October 26 to November 9. (This will be the Tuesday following the NEA meeting in New Hampshire--sorry for the tight scheduling.) The meeting will be hosted by Mount Holyoke and will begin at 4:30. The talk will precede dinner and will begin at 5:00--another format innovation! Due to space limitations there will be no facility tour. Check the events page for more information.

June 23, 1999: The volunteer committee has worked hard to establish a schedule of events for 1999-2000. The fall meeting will be held in Northampton, the winter meeting in Holyoke, and the spring meeting in Hartford.

Museum and Resource Center on June 5th ... on February 23rd, CRAG celebrated
its tenth anniversary with a tour of the CIGNA Archives and dinner at W.B.
Cody's in Bloomfield, Connecticut. A discussion about CRAG, its structure,
and future meeting sites and topics followed.
